It has been a rough weekend, it was February break, and not being around your family can get kind of lonely. Yet, I too realized how much love you can find in those who value you so much. I had the privilege to stay over at one of my friends house for two nights, and I realized how much love someone can give, and how much love I received, int he course of two days. I too realized, that sometimes we value some people so much and they don't really care at all, and because of that we forget about those who really love us and care for us.

Days Like These
It is days like these that we realize how much of our lives we actually value and cherish. Love, we can never give or receive to much of it; but have we all realized what this word really means. We use it on our daily vocabulary , and we are used to telling everyone we feel are fairly close to us. The real question is, do we really. Jesus died in the cross for us, for our sins, for our wrong doing.. That is love. How many times do we place ourselves in others shoes. Do we really take a walk in the shoes before we react. I've come to realize we tend to forget what a real friendship is like, we take them for granted, and just expect people to be there for us when needed, but nothing is a one way street. Everything has two sides to it. We sometimes allow small insignificant things get in the way, and sometimes we let a situation take over when what is really important is the foundation of how everything started. Yes, things change, but nothing has to change for the worse, why not make it for the better. It is hard, but not impossible, and if Jesus could do it, why can't we. I have to to learn that even though we don't get anything back in return, it is worth just being there for someone. When we value a person and that person won't have a response back, it probably will end up hurting you, but Jesus does it all the time. It takes time... but you never know when you can cause a huge change in that person's life. There is no Greater Love than God's, and as long as I live, my desire is to shine for him.
